We no longer do
repairs here, for the time being until we find someone
as handy as Brian, who has gone on to accept a 'real job'
with benefits and insurance and all of that good stuff.
Spillar hitches,
however, can do horse trailer repairs here in Austin.
2701 South Congress, Austin, 78704, 512-444-3227.
But, for major Brenderup repairs, call ASAP Trailer Services & Supply,
16330 FM 2920, Tomball, Texas. 281-351-7855
Or call the
Brenderup plant in Midland, 800-745-1307 .
For trailer
hitch installation, I have had very good luck with:
Again, Spillar
hitch, above (512-444-3227)
OR
http://www.texashitch.com/texashitchhome.html
They are here in Austin and also in San Antonio.
Call ahead and they can usually do the work for you that
day. Remember, 2" ball and 18 to 19 inches
from the ground.
Also, Brenderups
now come with a 7 pin electrical hookup. Trailers before 2009 were a 6
pin, fyi. I've found that Walmart
has a pretty good selection of adapters if you need one.
Remember, you need a higher number of pins on the towing
vehicle than the towed trailer for the adaptor to work. Also, if you would rather your new trailer have a
different type (4 or 6 for instance), let us know and
they can make your trailer as you wish.
